OUR hiSTORY

1954

ŁOSOŚ original factory was in the port of Ustka, Poland. We dealt mainly with fishing in the Baltic Sea selling fresh fish, and the production of canned fish, marinades, boat repair, production of fishing nets, and ice production while operating 10 retail stores.

 

1991

ŁOSOŚ reorganized to specialize only in the production of canned fish. All efforts were consolidated to canning and invested in modernization, new machinery, and equipment. As a result, an increase in canning production was achieved from 1,200 to 7,000 tons per year.

 

2002

After more remarkable growth, ŁOSOŚ built a modern and innovative production plant in Słupsk, Poland.

Today

ŁOSOŚ is one of the leading producers of canned fish worldwide. The company is recognized as a leader in its field with a weekly production of over 1 million units.                                                    

ŁOSOŚ canning facility marries state-of-the-art technology and advanced equipment with old-world tradition and decades of experience.

We’ve evolved into one of Europe’s leading canning facilities with a dedicated workforce of over 500 people. Proud employees are committed to assure every product we sell is held to the highest possible standards.

ŁOSOŚ onsite lab ensures safety and quality assurance. ​Our advanced wastewater treatment plant upholds our commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability.

ŁOSOŚ products can now be found all over the world, including most European countries, the USA, Australia, China, and more.
